Chloe Laws is an award-winning writer, culture journalist and author. Her debut non-fiction book ‘Man Hater’ is out in May 2027 with 4th Estate.
As a journalist and essayist, she specialises in writing about misogyny, violence against women, feminism, pop culture, women’s health, body image and travel. Her writing has appeared in British Vogue, Glamour, The Guardian, Grazia, Stylist, Condé Nast Traveller, Allure, National Geographic, Vanity Fair, The Independent, The i, Cosmo, Vice, Dazed, Refinery29 and more, including cover stories for Stylist and GLAMOUR.
In 2024, Chloe gave a TEDx Talk that had several millions of views on Instagram, through which she unpicked what she calls misandry myths. Alongside her writing, Chloe regularly works with many leading brands and broadcasters as a speaker or panel host, from appearing on Woman’s Hour, Radio 1, The One Show, and Radio 5 Live, to joining or leading panels for Hinge, Bumble, Glamour and more.
She has worked as a specialist in growing audiences for publishers and media brands for a decade, at places such as Stylist, Glamour, Novara Media, Condé Nast Traveller and Hearst. With experience across editing, audience growth, and social media. Before going freelance to focus on writing her book and features writing, Chloe held positions such as Social Media Director at Glamour Magazine and Stylist Magazine.
Chloe Laws is also well known for her poetry, which she shares online and has been published in many anthologies and collections. She also launched a Substack newsletter called It’s Not That Bad. Her poetry has gone viral dozens of times, which — alongside her journalism — has contributed to gaining her a following of over 75,000 on Instagram @chloegracelaws.
Additionally, she is the founder of feminist platform FGRLS CLUB, which is well-loved amongst Gen-Z and millennial women for its independent coverage of stories around gender equality, and has over 147,000 Instagram followers.
